Naya Kanga Peak Climbing

The Naya Kanga Hill 5,844m (19,173ft), also known as the Ganja La Chuli is situated in the Langtang district. It has been popular ever since it was described as the most beautiful valley in the world by the British mountaineer Bill Tilman. The Naya Kanga Peak Climbing provides a journey through the Tibetan-influenced Langtang villages with wide biodiversity. The journey starts from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi and we travel through the thick rhododendron, oak trees, bamboo, pines and maples, following the narrow valley of Langtang Khola to the north-east. From the top, you can see breathtaking views of Langtang Lirung (7,246m), Lenpo Gang (7,083m), Dorje Lakpa (6,990m), Shishapangma (8,027m) on the Tibetan side as well as the fantastic views of the Kathmandu valley to the south. Tamangs inhabit this high and isolated area whose religious traditions, language, and dress are far more similar to Tibetan. Therefore, this trip offers an opportunity to get an insight of the Tamang community. The Naya Kanga Peak Climbing is an excellent choice for trekkers and mountaineers with a touch of Tibetan history, a pinch of floral and faunal abundance and a whole lot of Himalayan presence.
