Langshisha Ri Peak 6,427m(21,086ft) climbing takes you into the glorious Himalayan Langtang area. Takuya Kujimoto and Sherpa Pasang Norbu climbed the summit on 23 April 1982. The next day a Japanese expedition headed by Hiroshi Inoue at the south wall followed the first ascent in 1982. Langshisha Ri Peak Climbing trip begins from Syabrubesi and follows the Langtang trekking path through the Langtang Valley and Kyanjin Gompa, which helps you to experience the region's economic, geological, and spiritual resources. Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Kathmandu

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, our company representative will meet and welcome you to Nepal and then you'll be transferred to your confirmed hotel. Once you finish the check-in procedure, you can rest & relax at the hotel. Later you will be accompained by the office staff for a short tour of Thamel to make you familiar with some good restaurants, ATMs, money changer and other necessary places you might need during your stay in Thamel.

Day 2: A full day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley, the capital city

The very next morning, after breakfast you will leave for a full day sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley. You can visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple and Swyambhunath, very ancient and essentially enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath and the fine arts and historical architecture of Kathmandu Durbar Square reflecting the ancient Nepalese culture which is the highlights of our guided tour. A visit to Patan City will enchant you with its famous fine arts and historical architecture. On return to your hotel, you will have time to explore the local area, have dinner and perhaps take a leisurely stroll through the famous streets. Finally, day ends with a Authentic Nepalese Dinner in Nepali Cultural Restaurant.

Day 3: Expedition Preparation Day

We spend a day preparing the final documents, gears & equipment check and so on. You can go for final shopping if something is missed before leaving out for the mountain.

Day 4: Drive from Kathmandu to Syafrubesi (2,380m/7,806ft)

We leave Kathmandu in the morning for Syabrubesi, a village which is also the starting point for treks into the Langtang valley. Our journey will be on a winding road through frequent switchbacks. The first day of your trip comprises of an 8 hour ride through the Trishuli highway –road with its major portion black-topped and short portion un-asphalted. On a clear day we get to enjoy outstanding views of Manaslu, Annapurna and Ganesh Himal. Our trek for today ends with a descent into the small village of Syabrubesi.  Overnight in Syabrubesi.

Day 5: Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,480m/8,134ft)

5-6 hrs trek. Overnight in Lodge.

Day 6: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3,430m11,250ft)

The trail from Lama Hotel rises past small village in the forest, before emerging into a classic U-shaped glacial valley. On this day, we enter into Langtang Valley. The picturesque views along the trail are very pleasant and rewarding. The valley is third most popular trekking area in Nepal with full of varieties of flora and fauna.

Day 7: Trek from Langtang to Kyanjin Gompa (3,830m/12,562ft)

The trail onward from Langtang  climbs through increasingly rugged country through the small yak-herding village of Mundu, Sindum and Yampha, eventually tracing the path of Langtang Khola to Kyanjin Gompa (3870m). It is a short trek of about 3 hours with the views on mountains and snow covered peaks. In the afternoon, you can explore Yak Cheese Factory. The fantastic views of natural landscape and mountains are impressive.

Day 8: Acclimatization day at Kyanjin Gompa (3,830m/12,562ft)

Overnight in Lodge.

Day 9: Trek from Kyanjin Gompa to Langsisa Kharka (4,258m/13,966ft)

5-6 hrs trek. Overnight in Lodge.

Day 10: Trek from Langsisa Kharka to Langsisa base camp

Overnight Camping.

Day 11: Climb from Base Camp to high camp

Overnight Camping.

Day 12: Climb from High Camp to Summit Langsisa-Ri (6,427m/21,080ft) & back to base camp

Overnight Camping.

Day 13: Descend from Base Camp to Kyanjin Gompa (3,830m/12,562ft)

Overnight in Lodge.

Day 14: Trek from Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel (2,480m/8,134ft)

Overnight in Lodge.

Day 15: Trek from Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru Village (2,210m/7,248ft)

Overnight in Lodge.

Day 16: Trek from Thulo Syabru to Sing Gompa (3,330m/10,922ft)

Overnight in Lodge.

Day 17: Trek from Sing Gompa to Dhunche (1,960m/6,428ft)

Overnight in Lodge.

Day 18: Drive back to Kathmandu

7-8 hrs drive. Overnight in Lodge.

Day 19: Leisure day at Kathmandu

Leisure day at Kathmandu followed by farewell dinner & celebration. You can ask your guide to take you on a sightseeing trip inside Kathmandu Valley. On this day you can go to the various museums around the valley including the Narayanhiti Museum which earlier used to be the residence of the last king of Nepal. You may also go to the hilltop of Nagarkot. After some sightseeing around the world heritage sites in the valley, you will have a farewell dinner and enjoy with your Nepali friends and guide. You might even make plans for extending your stay for Chitwan jungle safari, rafting activities, and more with your guide.

Day 20: Departure

Finally it’s SEE OFF TIME. You will be picked from Hotel by representatives of Wongchhu Peak Promotion staff and dropped at Tribhuvan International Airport with a hope to see you again.
