Paragliding in Pokhara is one of the top 5 tandem paragliding sites in the world. Pokhara is a beautiful town in central Nepal. It is the gateway to trekking in the mountains of Annapurna but has a lot to offer. Sarangkot in Pokhara is the destination for paragliding from where the adventure starts. The place is at 1,592 m above sea level. This 30-40 minute flight lets you enjoy a series of soaring mountains like Mt. Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Lamjung Himal, Annapurna and Himchuli. You end up arriving safely in Lakeside. Pokhara has the best conditions for an entertaining and secure ride and a decent take-off area such as Sarangkot. Every year there is also a professional competition, as the city claims to be one of the best locations in the world for such adventure.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel
In your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, the representative of Wongchhu Peak Promotions staff will be giving you warm welcome in adventurous Himalayan country Nepal. Then, you are dropped to the hotel where you will take a rest and in the evening there will be a short briefing with all the entire trekking members, guide, sherpa’s about the day to day trek then we will move for welcome dinner.
Day 2: Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu
After having breakfast you will be introduced with your city tour guide. He will be explaining to you all about the history of heritage sites and help you to get knowledge about those sites. And then, you will visit the heritage sites of Kathmandu. In the morning you visit the Boudhanath stupa- the oldest Buddhist Stupa. Then you visit the oldest Hindu temple of Pashupatinath. After that, you head to other Buddhist stupa Swayambhunath which is located in the hillock. From there you can observe the 360-degree view of the Kathmandu valley. After that you have lunch. Then you prepare for the trekking.
Day 3: Fly to Pokhara (500m)
Early moring we will leave hotel for our domestic flight to Pokhara which approximately takes 25 - 30 minutes. Pokhara is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal. Many tourists visit Pokhara Valley to see the Himalayan range and lakes. Pokhara is also famous for boating, trekking, rafting and extreme sport like rafting, canoeing and bungee jumping. overnight in hotel
Day 4: Full day sightseeing in Pokhara
Early in the morning, Wongchhu Peak Promotion guide will take to you sarangkot for superb Himalayan views of Dhaulagiri 8167m, Nilgiri 7041m, Fishtail/Machhapuchhare 6998m, Annapurna I 8091m, Annapurna II 7939m , Annapurna III7555m, Annapurna IV 7525m, Annapurna south 7219m, Hiunchuli 6441m, Lamjung Himal 6986m,Tukuche peak 6920m etc , drive back to pokhara. Our tour guide will take to you full day sightseeing around Pokhara valley such as David fall, Mahendra cave, world peace stupa and fewa lake boating , transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at Pokhara.
Day 5: Paragliding in Sarangkot (1600m)
Paragliding takes place in Pohkara. Your launching place is at Sarangkot, a hill station 25 minutes jeep drive above lake side. Sarangkot is 1600m above sea level. You launch by using the thermals and rise up above Sarangkot to see the stunning panorama of Annapunrna, Dhaulaghiri and Manaslu.
Day 6: Fly back to Kathmandu and leisure day.
After breakfast at the hotel, fly back to Kathmandu. Leisure day at Kathmandu followed by farewell dinner & celebration. Leisure day at Kathmandu followed by farewell dinner & celebration. You can ask your guide to take you on a sightseeing trip inside Kathmandu Valley. On this day you can go to the various museums around the valley including the Narayanhiti Museum which earlier used to be the residence of the last king of Nepal. You may also go to the hilltop of Nagarkot. After some sightseeing around the world heritage sites in the valley, you will have a farewell dinner and enjoy with your Nepali friends and guide. You might even make plans for extending your stay for Chitwan jungle safari, rafting activities, and more with your guide.
