Baruntse Expedition via Mera La Pass

Mt. Baruntse Expedition means the expedition which is asymmetrical snow peak, has four ridges and four summits and is considered one of the most beautiful peaks in the Nepalese Himalaya. It has the Barun Glacier flowing north to south from Cho, to the northwest by the Imja Tse glacier and the Hunku glacier forms the southeast boundary.

The South -East Ridge of Baruntse is a bit difficult because of being straightforward hard ways to climb. In the Expedition of Mt. Baruntse there are hard sections of 50 Degree's elevation with a prominent ice cliff for climbing and facing the risk of avalanche. The climbers have succeeded the mountain mostly in the spring season because of being the best season to the climber for safety. However, some climbers have reached on the top of this mountain in the autumn season too.

Wongchhu Peak Promotion provides a comprehensive service organizing all necessary permits, climbing documentation, logistics including airfares, ground transportation, porters, food along the trek and other individual services required by clients. Wongchhu Peak advises clients to use a personal climbing Sherpa guide (which we will provide) to help you reach the summit. Your personal climbing Sherpa will set up camps food provisions, fuel and oxygen as well as guide the climber to summit.
